Hi Mikey

I maintain three English village community websites which I have moved over to CMSimple over the past year.

I'm looking for a suitable template which I can adapt. These are all quite small places in rural locations. They are in the English East Midlands which is generally rolling countryside but not very hilly and definitely not mountainous.

They are all close to the River Trent which is an important Midlands river but not really navigable in my locality.

Hope you can help or point me in the right direction.

Barry Thomas

Hi
I´m using the template that follows the CMSimple2.4 called >subsilverlike<
All I need is an extra menu-window (or what ever you call it) in the right side of the page. I would like it to be able to contain the jax-calender, memberpages log-in e.g.
As you can see on my test page http://www.andersenhome.dk the left menubar is getting to long.

I hope I have made my self clear. And of course that there will be a helpfull clever dude that vil show me how to do it.

/E

Hi djot
I Dont know if your responce was ment for me, but if it is, I just wanted to say that I´ve been trying out several templates that might fulfill my requirements/wishes. But the point is that I am very happy with my adjustted tamplate, and every time I chooce another template I cant get it to be just the way I want it to be.
Many of the templates uses pictures instead of colors. which means I have to create a lot of pictures for a new template.
But when this is said, I have to admitt that there is a lot of very cool templates to choose from.

You can leave out all those pictures, you just have to look on the structure of the table, that places the different website contents in his cells.

Message to Jens,

Would you have the time to look at the 'today' template and modify the 'H2' & 'H3' to appear like webenate?

;) @ elvis!

Sometimes it's not too hard. And you learned a bit more of CMSimple I guess.

Hey mickey,

i'm workin on a non-commercial site about solar-energy that will discribe the possibilities and advantages on this kind of energie and explain how to reduce the costs of heating in an average household. Your "Goldensun" Template leads in the right way, because of the sun in the top. Is it possible to modificate the template to a "Sunpower"-Variation ?

Thanks in advance:

Tom(ranchwood)

Hi mikey,

First time that I had a closer look on one of your templates code (corpdhtml3).

- double head tags
- double title tags
- double body tags
- tr tags without initiating table tag
- map tags inside tables
- toplink in front of body

and so on ... NOT very nice really!

its been discussed before djot, see recent mulder post..the code has absolutely no bearing on the look of the site/templates, so this really does not matter

but hey, thanks for looking at the code ;)
