me wonders nothing when its hosted by strato. Maybe just wait a few days, i have seen "miracles" there :-)

Problem found - please do not setup sites with default password another time - it is not good for your security.

The server is running
PHP Version 4.1.2

html_entity_decode is only PHP 4 >= 4.3.0
http://www.php.net/html_entity_decode

Try removing html_entity_decode() from search.php -and I am sure it is OK again.

I have to fix this sometime in order to keep CMSimple PHP >= 4.0.4

yes, I know. It was just for testing purpose.

If, as we can see, CMSimple even runs on a 'crab server', that shows us the good programming work and the good quality of this software.

I hope this will be your only problem at strato. prepare for some nice "surprise"

I really dont understand how a company with millions of customers can do absolutely nothing to improve their terrible main offering and customer relationship and still be successful like them.
